Ages of Man
- Hesiod believed that the first of the four ages was the best. Why might he have thought this? What qualities can you identify in the first age that are desirable?
- How does the Age of Iron compare to our own age? Similarities (if any)? Differences (if any)?
- Think about this: What if our age (or the age you could predict is the next age after ours) is the one beyond the Age of Iron. What would that age be called? What would its characteristics be?
